Aesthetic treatment provider Thérapie Clinic plans to open 50 new clinics and create 800 new jobs over the next three years, following the collapse of fellow cosmetic surgery chain Skin.

Five more clinics will open across the UK this year alone as the business seeks to strengthen its presence and accessibility.

Since launching over 20 years ago as a family-owned and operated company, Thérapie Clinic has opened 75 clinics worldwide, employing more than 200 qualified doctors.

It specialises in cosmetic injections, laser hair removal and advanced skin, body sculpting and women’s health treatments.

The company's latest expansion plans underscore its commitment to supporting local economies and providing high-quality employment, including welcoming staff members impacted by the sudden closure of Skin earlier this week.

Skin, one of Britain’s largest cosmetic surgery providers with more than 70 branches across the UK, ceased trading on Tuesday following an unsuccessful attempt to secure investment.

The owner of Skin Clinics, the Harley Medical Group, Skin Brands, the Skin Experts and ABC Medical had over 450 consultants, doctors, nurses and medical practitioners operating across England and Scotland before its collapse.

Phillip McGlade, CEO of Thérapie Clinic, said: "We are saddened by the recent news of Skin Clinics and its impact on staff, clients and the industry and we are here to show our support by offering advice and recruitment opportunities to those affected.

"I would like to reassure our valued clients in Ireland, the UK and NYC that Thérapie Clinic remains a trusted aesthetic partner. Our unwavering commitment to safe, effective and accessible treatments has fuelled our growth.

"We are excited to expand our footprint within our biggest market, the UK, creating 800 jobs over the next three years while continuing to serve clients with the highest standards of car and most advanced treatments."
