The Fragrance Shop has opened a new store in Edinburgh, marking the retailer's first location in the city as it continues its UK expansion.

Located at Fort Kinnaird, the new store features over 100 brands, offering customers access to a wide variety of fragrances from brands including Gucci, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent and more.

Steve Brant, Regional Director North at The Fragrance Shop, said: "We are thrilled to establish our presence in Edinburgh and become a part of this prominent outdoor retail park.

"We look forward to bringing our unique offerings closer to the community. This expansion represents our dedication to providing exceptional products and services across the nation, while creating job opportunities and contributing to local economies."

The Fragrance Shop joins a number of existing beauty brands and retailers at Fort Kinnaird, including Boots, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug, as well as beauty services provider Elegance.

Liam Smith, Centre Director at Fort Kinnaird, said: "It’s a really exciting time for the centre with plenty of new arrivals this year and The Fragrance Store is a fantastic addition – we’re really pleased the team has chosen us as its first store in Edinburgh.

"We have no doubt the new store will prove very popular with our visitors looking to treat themselves or pick up the perfect gift."

The opening follows The Fragrance Shop's record-breaking year, with sales boosted by 6.1% for the 12 months ending 1 April.

Growth was driven by the retailer's store expansion, including a new flagship that opened on London's Oxford Street in November, featuring the UK’s first AI scent creation machine.
