Dolce & Gabbana has unveiled its new beauty boutique at Harrods, following the relaunch of its makeup line.
Located in the makeup hall on the ground floor of the Knightsbridge-based department store, the new space allows visitors to explore the Italian brand's fragrance and makeup lines.
The experience is strengthened with consultations supported by interactive devices, allowing customers to discover different looks through virtual experiences and personalised advice.
Meanwhile, moving from straight lines to sensual curves, the boutique’s decor aims to enhance the luxury brand's makeup and fragrance collections. The concept features gold, white and black accents, paying homage to the brand’s codes throughout.
"Gold evokes the splendour of the Baroque era, white the purity, and black the essence of Dolce & Gabbana, opposing but complementary feelings that tell the DNA of the Italian brand - sensuality and rigor, tradition and innovation," D&G said.
Showcased within the space, Dolce & Gabbana's new Boundless Beauty collection is defined by innovation and research, as well as avant-garde active ingredients, to achieve "unprecedented sensory formulas and an impeccable makeup effect".
From a skin tint and lip oil to a multi-use palette and mascara, the range features 11 new products defined by four looks.
"From the effortless and skin-loving glow of the Fresh Look to the versatile elegance of the Classic Look, to the iconic appeal of the Flawless Look and the vibrant proposals of the Bold Look, the new makeup offers the possibility to create infinite combinations, perfect for every mood and occasion," it said.
The new concession at Harrods follows the debut of Dolce & Gabbana's "beauty corner" at its flagship boutique on Old Bond Street in London last year, strengthening the brand's focus on the category after bringing its beauty business back in-house.
Dolce & Gabbana took control of the development, manufacture and distribution of its fragrance and makeup products in 2022, ending its licensing deal with Shiseido Company.
