From Fable & Mane's volumising haircare duo to a new shade of Saie’s Glowy Super Gel, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Fable & Mane

Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner, Fable & Mane

Fable & Mane has launched a new Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner, taking inspiration from a time in India when the art of massaging the scalp and hair with plants, seeds and flowers was the secret to a glorious mane. Staying true to this philosophy, the product duo is powered by ancient Ayurvedic science and formulated with vitamin-rich ingredients that are famed for their potent strengthening and volumising benefits.

Suitable for fine-to-medium hair types, ingredients include fenugreek to plump strands while promoting a healthy scalp environment, black seed to replenish fragile hair, restore hair elasticity and add softness, onion to promote healthy hair growth and strengthen strands for less breakage, and amla to condition strands and add instant shine. These are complemented by a warm spice blend of Indian saffron and nutmeg paired with midnight rose damascena and Indian jasmine sambac, with a touch of incense.

As someone with fine hair, this new launch from Fable & Mane is a welcome addition to my shower and something I'm very much looking forward to trying in an attempt to give some life to my limp locks. It's now available at Fable & Mane, Sephora, Cult Beauty and Selfridges.

The City Break Set, Chanel

Chanel Beauty’s seasonal launches are never ones to miss and its City Break and Nature Getaway limited-edition sets are no different. Are you drawn to peachy pink hues or bold greens and reds? The grasshopper green eyeshadow included in the City Break collection is what caught my eye.

Inspired by quick bites you can indulge in on the go, Cécile Paravina designed The City Break. The set includes an Ombre Premiere Laque eyeshadow, two Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue lipsticks (with wear times nearly as long as their names), and one Le Vernis nail polish in a limited-edition, gourmet-inspired shade.

Don’t get me wrong, the price tag (£160) is steep, but what if I told you it comes with a Chanel makeup pouch that’s asking to moonlight as your summer clutch bag? The pale green pouch, whose shape is inspired by a lunch bag, was specifically designed to take this set along with you on all your city getaways – and it’s most certainly coming along on mine. The City Break set is exclusively available at Chanel and Selfridges.

Hourglass

Unreal Liquid Blush, Hourglass

Hourglass Cosmetics has unveiled its biggest launch of the year so far, a new "innovative" liquid blush that promises to plump skin while delivering long-lasting, buildable colour. As a fan of liquid blush myself, this has certainly caught my eye!

Infused with a unique blend of hyaluronic acid and upcycled white lupin seed extract, the serum-like formula works to instantly smooth and plump skin for up to 12 hours. It also features a precision dropper, allowing users to customise their desired look, from a soft wash of colour to a vibrant flush.

Arriving in seven "ultra-blendable" shades, including pinks, berries and corals, the new Unreal Liquid Blush is now available in the UK at premium beauty retailer Space NK.

Super Glowy Gel in Roseglow, Saie

If you’re anything like me and spend most evenings glued to TikTok, I’m sure you’ve come across Saie Beauty. From its fan-favourite concealers to its glassy highlighters, the US-based brand has cemented a spot on my radar.

This week I tried out Saie’s Glowy Super Gel (£22) in the new shade Roseglow before next week's launch. As someone who typically veers towards golden tones but has recently realised the power of pink, this launch couldn’t have come at a better time.

The gel is perfect for creating that coveted no-makeup, makeup-lit-from-within look. Packed with skin-friendly ingredients - glycerin and squalane – the formula promises a smoothed and brightened complexion. Not only has my original bottle of Starglow (Roseglow’s golden sister) lasted me longer than I should probably admit (it might be time for makeup heaven), but it’s also one of the most versatile products perched on my dressing table. Not only can it be stacked as a spot highlighter, but it can also be mixed into cream makeup or worn alone on the face or body.

Jouissance

LA BAGUE D’O, EN PLEIN AIR and LES CAHIER SECRETS, Jouissance

New luxury fragrance brand Jouissance has launched, taking inspiration from the lives and creations of three elemental erotic writers, Pauline Réage, Catherine M and Anais Nin. This interesting concept is brought to life by three debut scents, each with its own unique scent story.

In homage to the female writers, the brand's approach is inspired by the specificity of women's language, art and creativity. The first fragrance, LA BAGUE D’O, is described as an olfactory reimagining of Pauline Réage’s infamous creation, Story of O. Beguiling, intoxicating and romantic, the scent attempts to bring to mind a "bruise-coloured bouquet, combining soft femininity with a steel edge and secretive dark undercurrent".

Meanwhile, EN PLEIN AIR takes inspiration from the world of art critic and erotic memoirist Catherine M. Described as bright, acerbic and fresh, the scent is said to open with "the clean airiness of an intellectual life spent in galleries and at editors’ desks, and gives way to the grassy dirtiness of amorous alfresco exploits".
Finally, LES CAHIER SECRETS is based on the sensory writings of infamous diarist Anaïs Nin. Warm, nostalgic and sensual, the fragrance imagines "a well-travelled writer’s den, where a woman adorns her creative space with all her favourite luxuries in order to retreat to a sensual state of feverish creativity". Priced at £180 each, the new collection is available online at Jouissance.
